Diane R. Wiener, director of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Disability Cultural Center, and Justin Bachman, a sophomore in the , will be the featured speakers at an event to mark National Disability Employment Awareness Month.

The event will take place Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 12:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the 黑料不打烊 Veterans Administration Medical Center, 800 Irving Ave. It is free and open to the public. The auditorium is located on the ground floor of the hospital鈥檚 south wing.
Wiener has extensive experience in disability advocacy and has worked closely with people with disabilities in both therapeutic and non-therapeutic contexts. She will be speaking on disability advocacy and disability rights.
Bachman, who has Tourette Syndrome, ADHD and dysgraphia, will be sharing part of his acclaimed 鈥淟iving Loud鈥 presentation. He has received numerous awards for his inspirational speeches on tolerance and acceptance.
