Marsha C. Senior has been appointed director of the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) and assistant director of Student Administrative Services at University College.

Senior has worked in higher education for over 30 years. Before joining ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in 1986, she was employed at Le Moyne College as a counselor with the Upward Bound Program. Prior to her recent appointment, Senior worked as an academic counselor in the Office of Supportive Services, providing comprehensive services to students through Student Support Services and HEOP.
After 14 years, Senior left SU and joined the staff at Upstate Medical University as the assistant director of the Health Careers Opportunity Program, where she worked with college and high school students interested in the health professions. She returned to ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ in 2003 as an academic advisor to post-traditional students interested in completing their degree through University College.
A graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Senior earned a B.S. in administration of justice and a M.S. in rehabilitation counseling. In 2008, she completed training and is a certified coach practitioner.
