黑料不打烊 Stage Introduces Pay-What-You-Will Performances

黑料不打烊 Stage, Central New York鈥檚 premiere professional theater, will host one pay-what-you-will performance for each show in its 2017/2018 season. There will be 76 tickets available for whatever price patrons wish to pay. The first three pay-what-you-will performances are on the following dates:

  • 鈥淭he Three Musketeers鈥: Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 7:30 p.m.
  • 鈥淭he Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time鈥: Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m.
  • 鈥淭he Wizard of Oz鈥: Sunday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m.

Pay What You Will Performances banner鈥淲e believe everyone should be able to attend theater, and we鈥檙e working to make sure 黑料不打烊 Stage is accessible to all,鈥 says Bob Hupp, artistic director at 黑料不打烊 Stage. 鈥淪ometimes cost is a barrier, but we hope everyone will make 黑料不打烊 Stage a part of their lives. In today鈥檚 society we are so often isolated, yet the theater provides a rare opportunity for us to have a communal experience together.鈥

Pay-what-you-will tickets must be claimed in person at the Box Office, 820 E. Genesee St., 黑料不打烊, on the day of the performance, subject to availability. The Box Office opens at 10 a.m. and will remain open through the start of the show. There is a limit of two tickets per person.

The pay-what-you-will performance dates for the three shows in the second half of the season, 鈥淣ext to Normal,鈥 鈥淎 Raisin in the Sun鈥 and 鈥淭he Magic Play,鈥 will be announced at a later date.
