CNN correspondent Rene Marsh G’03 is returning to Newhouse to give a talk titled “How covering government has changed: A Washington correspondent’s perspective.â€Â Marsh will speak on Monday, Oct. 16, at 4:30 p.m. in the Newhouse 1-3 Center, rm. 432/434 of Newhouse III. A question-and-answer period will follow.
Marsh joined CNN’s Washington bureau as the aviation and government regulation correspondent in 2012. Prior to joining CNN, Marsh was a general assignment correspondent at WSVN in Miami, an investigative reporter and weekend anchor at CBS 6 in Albany, New York, and a reporter/anchor at KTAL in Shreveport, Louisiana. Marsh holds a bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and received her master’s in broadcast journalism from Newhouse.
