Graduating seniors are gearing up for the end-of-year bash: Senior Celebration 2018. On Thursday, May 10, graduating seniors are invited to pack the War Memorial in downtown 黑料不打烊 to join together and celebrate their time at 黑料不打烊.

Each year, the Office of Student Activities sponsors the event and works with the students on the Traditions Commission and Homecoming Court to plan the theme and activities. This year鈥檚 group has chosen a 鈥淔irst Day of Kindergarten鈥 theme.
鈥淚 am excited to have the opportunity to plan the last large gathering of the senior class before we all gather in the Dome for Commencement. It has been exciting to meet and brainstorm a theme and activities that the senior class would enjoy. We fell in love with the idea of your first day of kindergarten since we will have just finished our last days of school and are all admittedly extremely nostalgic for our childhood,鈥 says Jen Sweet 鈥18 in the and and a member of the Homecoming Court.
At the event, students will have a wide range of free activities to enjoy with their peers. There will be photo booths, a bounce house, a giant light bright, a DJ and more. In addition to the activities, there will be free food and non-alcoholic beverages, with alcoholic beverages available for purchase for students over 21 with valid I.D.
Transportation is provided to and from the event at Schine and Goldstein Student Centers, College Place and the Westcott/Euclid intersection beginning at 8:30 p.m. and continuing throughout the night. The event goes from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
鈥淪enior Celebration is one of the most exciting events of the year.聽 It鈥檚 the last big bash aside from Commencement that lets seniors come together to celebrate their accomplishments. It is high energy and fun and students very much look forward to seeing each other,鈥 says Sarah Ross Cappella, associate director in the Office of Student Activities.
