TEDx ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ student organizers

Are you exploring an innovative idea or concept that has yet to reach its full potential? Are you pursuing interesting projects in your local community? Do you want to spark change in the lives of people?

The student organizers at  want to hear about it!

TEDx ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, an independently organized TED event, is looking for speakers for its 2019 event in April. Proposals are measured by the relevance of the story as well as the ability the idea has to impact the lives of audience in a positive, refreshing way.

Potential speakers are considered more for their passion for their stories than the amount of public speaking experience they have. The ideal speaker has significant experience in the field they are discussing but is also willing to put in the time and effort necessary to create a genuine talk. We want our speakers to share their hopes, dreams and passions on stage.

The team is looking for speakers from across our community. The overarching theme for this year’s event will be announced in upcoming months. TEDx ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s 2019 event is slated to take place on April 6, 2019, in the Slocum Auditorium.

To nominate a speaker, simply fill out this by Dec. 3, 2018.

Questions can be directed by e-mail to Sarah Grinnell, communications coordinator, or Ariana Rassooly, co-lead organizer and head of curation at tedxsyracuseu@gmail.com.

Sponsorship for the TEDx ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ event is provided by the Ruth Ivor Foundation, the  and the  at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ.
