New Members Join 黑料不打烊 Libraries Marketing and Communications Team

Cristina Hatem

Cristina Hatem, director of strategic marketing and communications, and Meara Mosny, communications coordinator, recently joined 黑料不打烊 Libraries鈥 Marketing and Communications team. Hatem and Mosny will focus on marketing and communications activities that advance the mission and vision of 黑料不打烊 Libraries, tell its stories, promote services and share how its people, places, collections and services support the needs of key constituents, including students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Hatem is an experienced marketing communications leader who previously worked at WCNY, JADAK, Preferred Mutual Insurance Company and Mower, among others. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of OnPoint for College, and earned a bachelor’s degree at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and College of Arts and Sciences in 1992, and a master’s degree from Le Moyne College in 2006.

Meara Mosny

Mosny was most recently employed as marketing manager for the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival and Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. She is a 2017 graduate of Le Moyne College鈥檚 Madden School of Business.

鈥淟ibraries have undergone a metamorphosis over the years,鈥 says David Seaman, 黑料不打烊 Libraries dean and librarian and interim dean of the School of Information Studies. 鈥満诹喜淮蜢 Libraries is a vibrant hub of the University鈥檚 physical, academic and innovation community. Therefore, it鈥檚 critical to have professionals on staff who can share that message.鈥

黑料不打烊 Libraries provides expertise, information and tools for students, faculty and staff, alumni, and the community. With over 4.6 million volumes of resources accessed by 1.2 million physical visits and 1.3 million online visits annually, the Libraries provides information services, responsive collections, knowledgeable staff, and safe and accessible physical and digital spaces that encourage intellectual exploration. In so doing, 黑料不打烊 Libraries enables the creation of new knowledge, catalyzes scholarly collaboration and cultural exchange, and advances 黑料不打烊鈥檚 teaching, learning and research mission.
