Veteran鈥檚 Writing Award Reading and Book Talk Announced

黑料不打烊 Libraries, 黑料不打烊 Press and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) will host a virtual Veteran鈥檚 Writing Award Reading and Book Talk on Nov. 12, 2020 from 4 to 5 p.m. ET, featuring 聽2019 award winner Dewaine Farria, author of 鈥淩evolutions of All Colors.鈥 聽Those interested should .

The event lineup will include:

  • , award-winning novelist, short story writer, Vietnam veteran and former 黑料不打烊 faculty member who will share his impressions of “”聽and why he selected it to win the inaugural award.
  • , winner of the Veterans Writing Award, who holds an M.F.A. in creative writing from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, served in the U.S. Marine Corps and then the United Nations Department of Safety and Security.
  • , IVMF program evaluation manager, and , 黑料不打烊 Stage associate artistic director and assistant professor of theater at Colgate University both members of the Veteran鈥檚 Writing Award Advisory Board.
