The U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Technology Transitions recently launched the EnergyTech University Prize (EnergyTech UP), an engaging competition that challenges post-secondary students to develop and present a business plan that leverages lab-developed and other high-potential energy technologies.

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Center of Excellence (CoE) was selected as one of 15 EnergyTech UP Regional Convening Partners, as part of a collaboration with NYSERDA and CenterState CEO’s Clean Tech Center. Students can team up and take part in a competition to win more than $250,000 in prize money for successfully identifying an energy technology, assessing its market potential and proposing a strategy for commercialization.
