黑料不打烊鈥檚 2023-24 budget will include a historic $350 million to support students of promise鈥攔egardless of economic means鈥攚ith financial aid, grants, scholarships and other assistance. The amount reflects a 9% increase over the prior year and is, in large part, supported by the ongoing success of the聽Forever Orange Campaign, which has broken all previous University records for fundraising to support student access and success.

鈥淭he University remains steadfast in its commitment to ensure that the distinctive experience we offer is available to promising students from across the socioeconomic spectrum,鈥 says Ryan Williams, vice president for enrollment services. 鈥淲e look forward to welcoming a talented new cohort of students and our returning students when the Fall 2023 semester gets underway. The University鈥檚 commitment of record financial aid will allow our students to have the support they need to earn their degrees.鈥

The Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees recently approved the following rates for tuition, room and board, and fees:

  • Tuition for full-time undergraduates will be $61,310, a 4.9% increase;
  • Room rates for most full-time new and returning undergraduates will be $9,996;
  • There will be no change to board rates; rates, which include the Orange Unlimited meal plan that offers greater value and flexibility, will remain at $7,650;
  • There will be no increase in the student activity and residential internet and cable access and service fees;
  • The co-curricular fee will be $250; and
  • The health and wellness fee will be $850.

In addition, as previously announced, graduate assistant stipends will be significantly increased as follows:

  • Minimum stipend for master鈥檚 students with full 20-hour academic year assistantships will be $20,000;
  • Minimum stipend for Ph.D. students will be $22,000; and
  • All schools and colleges will increase assistantship stipends by at least 5% on average.
