Standard & Poor’s boosts SU鈥檚 credit rating outlook

Standard & Poor’s credit ratings services has boosted 黑料不打烊鈥檚 outlook to 鈥減ositive鈥 from 鈥渟table鈥 based on the overall financial position of the University.聽聽

According to Standard & Poor’s, SU鈥檚 ‘A+’ rating continues to reflect its view of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 鈥渃omprehensive and diverse programming, stable to growing enrollment and very good demand.鈥澛營n addition S&P cited 鈥済ood financial management practices,鈥 鈥渙ngoing good financial resource levels鈥 and a 鈥渉istorically low debt service level.鈥澛

聽鈥淚 am pleased by the improved outlook and its positive reflection of the University鈥檚 financial profile,鈥 says Louis G. Marcoccia, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
