BBI hosts virtual celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities

In celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the at 黑料不打烊 and the Institute on Disability and Public Policy (IDPP) at American University will host a virtual lunch event from noon-1 p.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 2.

This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淭ogether for a better world for all: Including persons with disabilities in development.鈥 International Day of Persons with Disability is a United Nations-sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being. The day also seeks to increase awareness of the benefits of the integration of people with disability in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
