Get your vote on: Democracywise offers resource for voters

We’re a few months from November’s general election, but the 2012 Presidential Primary Election is just over a week away. SU’s Bird Library is a polling place and voters can cast ballots there from noon to 9 p.m. on April 24.

If you need information about registration dates or deadlines, you can get answers from the Onondaga County Board of Elections at (315) 435-8683.

For more information on the candidates and races, you can click on , an online voter information site produced by students in Knight Chair in Political Reporting and associate professor Charlotte Grimes’ political reporting classes. Democracywise includes a database of candidates and races, as well as stories about the issues most affecting voters.

Democracywise won a 2012 Chancellor’s Award for Public Engagement in March.
