SU Contemporary Music Ensemble to perform May 3

The 黑料不打烊 Contemporary Music Ensemble will present a concert on Thursday, May 3, at 8 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, Crouse College. The concert is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the Irving Garage; parking for patrons with disabilities is available in the Q1 lot. Patrons should mention that they are attending the concert.

The Contemporary Music Ensemble is conducted by Daniel Hege, Stevenson Professor of Practice in the Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music in SU鈥檚 . The program will include Daniel S. Godfrey鈥檚 “Numina,” Jennifer Higdon鈥檚 “Soliloquy,” Andrew Waggoner鈥檚 “One Kindness,” B茅la Bart贸k鈥檚 “Vivace” from his Piano Quintet, Cody Forrest鈥檚 “Savage Light Celestial鈥 and Aaron Copland鈥檚 “Appalachian Spring” for 13 instruments.
