The 17th annual Public Interest Auction held on Nov. 13 by the SU ‘s ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Public Interest Network was a smashing success. The silent and live auctions set records by raising about $31,000.
An estimated 500 law students, faculty, staff, family, friends and members of the community gathered at the Hotel ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ to bid on more than 400 donated items ranging from dinners/experiences with professors to works of art, sports memorabilia, tickets to performances in New York City and ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, and much more. Proceeds from the auction benefit law students at the College of Law Public Interest Network, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, whose mission is to ensure that law students have the opportunity to work in public interest positions in the community and throughout the nation.
