The graduate museum studies program in the (VPA) will explore a unique aspect of the human condition in the new exhibition “FAQ: Fearlessly Asked Questions,” on view April 10-May 1 in the Sue & Leon Genet Gallery, Room 106, at The Warehouse, 350 W. Fayette St., ϲ.

“FAQ” aims to be an innovative, educational and beautiful presentation with two thematic narratives: the types of questions we ask and how we seek answers to those questions. The gallery will house interdisciplinary displays with artifacts and resources drawn from history, science, art, pop culture and personal interviews. The overall vision for the exhibition is to bring attention to the importance of questions, both from a societal and individual perspective, while raising important questions for gallery visitors to consider for themselves.

A reception will be held on Friday, April 12, from 5-8 p.m. As part of the reception, a panel discussion will take place from 5:30–6:15 p.m. with Steve Masiclat, associate professor in the ; James Marvel, a third-year law student; and additional guests. In conjunction with the questions highlighted in the exhibition, this discussion will focus on what questions shaped the panel participants to become the people they are today. Participants will reflect on questions of identity, place, means, content and purpose.

Regular gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 1-5 p.m. The physical gallery is also supported by online components, including the , and on which users can answer questions and pose their own.
