Resnick will discuss ways visual artists can reinvigorate their capacity for creativity through experimentation, training and practice, as well as intuition. He will explore why some images work and others don’t, and will make specific suggestions about exercises and techniques photographers can use to improve their overall creative process, refine their creative vision and create more effective and compelling images.
“Creativity is like a muscle that you need to flex regularly,” he says. “Becoming a better photographer is really about training yourself to make your mind’s eye more creative. It’s about how to look for, see and create better images.”
Resnick seeks to produce images nobody else envisions. He has made his mark in the world of contemporary photography with a prolific career spanning education, fine art, editorial, stock and commercial work. He has also trained thousands of photographers in digital workflow methods.
