Engagement Programs Sponsors Annual Blanket Drive through Feb. 21

The Office of Engagement Programs in Hendricks Chapel is sponsoring a blanket drive now through Feb. 21 to assist people in need in the community this winter season.

Donations of new blankets can be made in the Office of Engagement Programs or the Hendricks Chapel Dean’s Office. Both are located on the lower level of the chapel. Donations of four yards of fleece or 7-inch by 9-inch crocheted or knitted rectangles will also be accepted. Monetary or gift card donations cannot be accepted.

The fleece and crocheted/knitted pieces will be used during a Cut-and-Tie Blanket Party on Friday, Feb. 21, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Hendricks Chapel Noble Room. Members of the SU community are invited to come and help create blankets. Lunch will be served.
