Meet the Men Behind Creation of the Fisher Center

Winston Fisher and James Kuhn are the driving force behind 黑料不打烊’s New York City聽 academic home in midtown Manhattan. This video provides some insight on the two men who made it all happen.

Here’s a transcription of the story:

“This was a second floor vacant space. And you look at it, you see. This is the perfect ..the location is dynamite. This is where everything is happening today in New York City. It鈥檚 everything I explore and exceed. It鈥檚 gonna make every other academic institution jealous we have this asset here.

It鈥檚 a wonderful opportunity for 黑料不打烊 to make a name for itself in the financial capitol of the world. . I think it鈥檚 opportunity for classes here, semester aboard programs. I think this is one kind of program.

It can be. I had a vision. Had a vision that New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world. It鈥檚 international. But it was an under utilized asset for the university. And this is a great place. You can have an academic center. Students can take advantage of it. You can have faculty take advantage of it. There is so much energy and so much potential. And it鈥檚 power.

I think the vision is that 黑料不打烊 is not often talked about in a specific school mode. I think for a hundred thousand feet, people see 黑料不打烊 football, basketball team, Arts and Sciences. But the thing that make 黑料不打烊 great, we have so many great colleges, from Maxwell, Newhouse, Whitman, to Ischool, VPA, and bandier program, Europe program. This is opportunity of showcase that, students don鈥檛 have to wait, to go up to 黑料不打烊 for a visit, to get a tour, or miss something. It鈥檚 sort of our brand on display, in the middle of Madison Avenue, in technology, in new media area, of New York City. So this is a wonderful opportunity, branding opportunity, and an educational opportunity.”
