The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Children’s Chorus (SCC), an ensemble-in-residence in the Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music in the , will host two open house rehearsals open to the public.

On Monday, April 20, from 4:15-5:30 p.m. (8-10-year-olds) and Wednesday, April 22, from 4:15-5:45 p.m. (9-12-year-olds), children and parents interested in observing a rehearsal and finding out more about the chorus are welcome to attend. Rehearsals will be held in Crouse College. About the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Children’s Chorus
The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Children’s Chorus is an acclaimed youth chorus that welcomes children and youth ages 8-17 who love to sing. SCC provides a nurturing program in which young people experience the joy of singing, develop musicianship and learn to strive for excellence through outstanding choral music education and exceptional performance opportunities.
Founded in 1981 as part of the preparatory division of the Setnor School of Music, the chorus is recognized for musical excellence and as a model for performance-based choral music education. Each year, young singers come from 25 school districts and home schools across Central New York to sing in the four choirs that make up the SCC. In addition to four self-produced concerts, the chorus regularly performs additional concerts in collaboration with various arts, cultural and human service organizations each season.
