University to hold first body image symposium

黑料不打烊鈥檚 first-ever symposium on body image, 鈥淗elp Yourself,鈥 will be held Saturday, March 27, from 1-4 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. Students are encouraged to attend.

The event is free. Registration is required and can be made by visiting by March 25.

Participants will be able to attend two workshops. Topics include 鈥淏ig Fat Lies,鈥 鈥淢yths and Facts of Eating Disorders,鈥 鈥淗ow to Help a Friend,鈥 鈥淚ncorporating Exercise into Your Daily Life,鈥 鈥淢indful Eating,鈥 鈥淚nternational Perspectives,鈥 鈥淣atural Effects of Food鈥 and 鈥淟ove Your Body.鈥

The symposium is sponsored by BRIDGES, OrangeWrap, SASSE and NEPA, along with the SU co-curricular fee.
