Military Intelligence Expert Available for Comment on Benghazi Hearings

Vice Admiral and Deputy Director for the Institute for National Security and Counterterrorism Robert B. Murrett is available for media interviews regarding the current Benghazi hearings.

Vice Admiral (Ret.) Robert B. Murrett

Murrett is also faculty member at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Maxwell School’s Department of Public Administration and International Affairs. In addition, he is a staff member at the RAND Corporation, and the Institute for Defense Analyses.

Previously, Murrett was a career intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy, serving in assignments throughout the Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East through his thirty-four years of duty, retiring in the grade of Vice Admiral. He served as Vice Director for Intelligence on the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, Director of Naval Intelligence, and the fourth Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, from July 2006 through July 2010.
