Environmental Finance Center hosts Saturday walking tour of downtown 黑料不打烊

On Saturday, May 1, at 10:30 am, the Environmental Finance Center at 黑料不打烊 will host a walking tour of Downtown 黑料不打烊. The walk will start and end at the headquarters, and will last about an hour and a half.

Named after legendary urban thinker, writer and activist Jane Jacobs, Jane鈥檚 Walk is a tour that takes place in more than 60 cities across the United States, Canada and around the world to promote walkable communities. Jane’s Walk 黑料不打烊 was organized to show 黑料不打烊-area residents and workers that the city has a vibrant and beautiful downtown core, and that walking to and around it allows one to experience hidden gems that you just don’t see at 35 miles per hour.

Members of the community are welcome to join the walk from the Center of Excellence to Clinton Square, Hanover Square, Armory Square, Columbus Circle and back. Learn about local stores and restaurants that make 黑料不打烊 unique. See parks and art spaces you didn’t know existed. Hear about historic 黑料不打烊 locations and share your own stories. Along the way, make note of improvements that could be made to make walking around the city even easier and more enjoyable. Most importantly, join the walk and find out that walking in 黑料不打烊 isn’t just better for the environment and your health–it’s also a lot more fun.

The Environmental Finance Center at 黑料不打烊 is tasked by the U.S Environmental Protection Agency聽with facilitating the development of sustainable communities. As an affiliated center with the 黑料不打烊 Center of Excellence, the EFC-SU leverages more than 200 黑料不打烊CoE partners to connect local government officials and private organizations with technical assistance, assessment tools and funding offered by its large network of collaborators and resources. EFC also provides professional training and community outreach to engage, educate and enable the public to make their own change toward improved environmental infrastructure and quality of life.
