Andy Nathan, vice president/account director with Crispin Porter+Bogusky (CP+B), will visit ϲ’s on Thursday, Nov. 11. He will speak on “Baby Carrots: Eat ’em like Junk Food” at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. His talk is free and open to the public. Parking is available in SU pay lots.

nathanNathan will discuss the “Baby Carrots” campaign, which positions baby carrots as a snack akin to junk food. The campaign recently launched in test markets in ϲ and Cincinnati.

Nathan joined CP+B in early 2008. He was part of the leadership team that drove the strategic and creative development of the Microsoft Windows “I’m a PC” launch campaign in the United States and U.K., which won Integrated Clio and Effie Awards. He was also an integral part of the global launch of the Windows 7 campaign.

Nathan was previously a group account director at Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) in New York, leading the Smirnoff, Miller Lite and New York City Tourism accounts. He led the development of one of Diageo’s most successful product launches for Smirnoff Raw Tea, ‘Tea Partay,’ which was awarded the Cyber Gold Lions at Cannes and is also on permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art’s Department of Film.

Before BBH, Nathan worked at DDB New York on the global launch of the Philips Electronics “Sense and Simplicity” campaign. Prior to DDB, he spent seven years at Ogilvy & Mather in New York and London, working across the global IBM business, including the highly-awarded “e-business” and “Magic Box” campaigns.
