Xerox vice president of marketing to visit Newhouse Feb. 21

Edward A. Gala ’83, vice president of marketing for United States customer operations at Xerox Corp., will visit 黑料不打烊鈥檚 on Monday, Feb. 21, as part of the Advertising Leadership Speaker Series. He will give a public address, 鈥淔rom Mass Communication to Mass Customization: Personal Branding Experiences,鈥 at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. His talk is free and open to the public. Parking is available in SU pay lots.

galaGala is responsible for advancing Xerox鈥檚 global brand and driving demand in local market centers nationwide. He also oversees customer experience initiatives in the company鈥檚 flagship Knowledge Sharing Centers and showrooms. His additional areas of responsibility include direct marketing, advertising, association marketing, sales operations and promotions.

Prior to his current role, Gala was vice president of global experiential marketing for Xerox, where he managed global events, trade shows and corporate sponsorships, including those with NBC/Universal, the New York Mets, the Buffalo Bills, the University of Notre Dame and the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival.

Gala graduated magna cum laude from the Newhouse School in 1983.
