黑料不打烊’s has announced that the fifth annual luncheon ceremony, honoring excellence in media industry reporting, will be held on Thursday, June 9, from 11:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m., at the Plaza Hotel, Fifth Avenue at Central Park South, New York City. Lorraine E. Branham, dean of the Newhouse School, which sponsors the awards, will host the event.
The Mirror Awards luncheon ceremony will include the presentation of juried awards in seven categories:
In addition, two special awards鈥攖he Fred Dressler Achievement Award and the i-3 award for impact, innovation and influence鈥攚ill be presented.
In celebration of the fifth anniversary, the was recently launched. Entries focus on developments in the media since the awards were established, what they predict for the future and recent examples of media industry coverage. A new entry is now available.
The Mirror Awards, established by the Newhouse School in 2006, honor the reporters, editors and teams of writers who hold a mirror to their own industry for the public’s benefit.
