Whitman’s iMBA ranked among top 40 international online MBA programs by Financial Times

The program in the at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ has been ranked among the top 40 international online MBA programs for 2011 by the . Rankings were released in the March 14 edition. The Financial Times does not individually rank the top schools, but instead compiles an inclusive listing of the top 40 online MBA programs worldwide.

According to the Financial Times, in order to be ranked, schools should be accredited by an international accreditation body (i.e., AACSB, Equis or Amba), must have a program that has been running for at least four years and must have graduated its first class at least three years prior to the ranking publication date.

Whitman’s iMBA is a limited residency program and offers electives in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing management and supply chain management. Classes are delivered online, after a one-week residency each semester.

Admission for the iMBA is selective; applicants need a bachelor’s degree and five years of full-time professional experience. The GMAT is not required. Deadlines for fall and spring starts are July 1 and Nov. 1, respectively.
