Standard & Poor’s boosts SU鈥檚 credit rating outlook

Standard & Poor’s credit ratings services has boosted 黑料不打烊鈥檚 outlook to 鈥減ositive鈥� from 鈥渟table鈥� based on the overall financial position of the University.聽聽

According to Standard & Poor’s, SU鈥檚 ‘A+’ rating continues to reflect its view of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 鈥渃omprehensive and diverse programming, stable to growing enrollment and very good demand.鈥澛營n addition S&P cited 鈥済ood financial management practices,鈥� 鈥渙ngoing good financial resource levels鈥� and a 鈥渉istorically low debt service level.鈥澛�

聽鈥淚 am pleased by the improved outlook and its positive reflection of the University鈥檚 financial profile,鈥� says Louis G. Marcoccia, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
