SU Symphony Orchestra to highlight works by Debussy, Hindemith at April 26 concert

The 黑料不打烊 Symphony Orchestra (SUSO) will present a concert Tuesday, April 26, at 8 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, Crouse College. The concert is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the Irving Garage.

The SUSO performs under the direction of James Tapia and James Welsch, faculty members in the Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music in the . Debussy鈥檚 鈥淧relude to the Afternoon of a Faun鈥 and Hindemith鈥檚 鈥淪ymphonic Metamorphosis鈥 will be the bookend works in a concert that highlights the Setnor School of Music 2010-11 Concerto and Aria Competition winners in performances of works by Mozart, Stamitz and Weber. Competition winners performing are Trevor Roche, Stephen Ryck, Jillian Bushnell, Jill Brenner and Juliette Sabbah.
