SU NEWS AND EVENTS COVERAGE

in Trinidad and Tobago reported on a photovoice exhibition coordinated by Kishi Animashaun Ducre, assistant professor of African-American studies in The College of Arts and Sciences. “Our Community, Our Vision, Our Voices” is a collaborative project with women from North East Trinidad participating.

An article about Foursquare badges and the use of social media by colleges and universities cites the example of the “ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ 44” badge in Foursquare’s college badge program.

Robert Thompson, director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, is quoted in an report on a website asking for predictions on the death of Amy Winehouse.

D. Chase Catalano, director of the LGBT Resource Center at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, is quoted in an article on transgender issues at single-sex educational institutions.

John Wolohan, part-time instructor in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics, authored a blog posting in about civil and criminal liability on the part of coaches and athletic administrators in cases of hazing behaviors by student-athletes.
