Former Saatchi & Saatchi ad executive Bob Isherwood to visit Newhouse Oct. 3

Bob Isherwood, former worldwide creative director with the advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi, will visit 黑料不打烊鈥檚 on Monday, Oct. 3, as a guest of the advertising department鈥檚 Eric Mower Advertising Forum. He will speak on 鈥淐reativity: Where the Big Ideas Come From鈥 at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. His talk is free and open to the public. Parking is available in SU pay lots. Follow the talk on Twitter via #Isherwood.

isherwoodAustralian-born Isherwood spent 12 years with Saatchi & Saatchi, where he worked with such major corporations as Procter & Gamble and Toyota. He is currently 鈥渃hief creative dude鈥 with Dialog Health, a company he co-founded in Nashville, which focuses on delivering innovative healthcare communication products. He is also an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University.

He was inducted into the Clio Hall of Fame and received the Clio Lifetime Achievement Award 鈥渋n recognition of outstanding and ongoing contributions by an individual who is leading the industry forward.鈥 He also received the first-ever honorary doctorate in communications from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.

He served as creative chairman for the International Advertising Association/United Nations Climate Change Initiative, which resulted in the 鈥淗openhagen鈥 movement and the re-branding of the city of Copenhagen.
