In celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the at 黑料不打烊 and the Institute on Disability and Public Policy (IDPP) at American University will host a virtual lunch event from noon-1 p.m. EST on Friday, Dec. 2.

This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淭ogether for a better world for all: Including persons with disabilities in development.鈥� International Day of Persons with Disability is a United Nations-sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage support for their dignity, rights and well-being. The day also seeks to increase awareness of the benefits of the integration of people with disability in every aspect of political, social, economic and cultural life.
