SU Symphony Band to perform Dec. 7

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Symphony Band will present a concert Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, Crouse College. The concert is free and open to the public. Free parking is available in the Irving Garage; patrons should mention that they are attending the concert.

The Symphony Band performs under the direction of Bradley P. Ethington, associate director of bands at SU, and Justin J. Mertz, assistant director of bands at SU, both of whom are also faculty members in the Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music in SU’s . The band will perform works by Maslanka, Zdechlik, Iannaccone, Balmages and Nelhybel.

The Symphony Band is open to both music majors and non-majors at SU. The ensemble performs the most outstanding traditional and contemporary wind band repertoire.
