David Bell, chairman emeritus of Interpublic Group, will visit 黑料不打烊鈥檚 on Tuesday, April 3, as a guest of the Eric Mower Advertising Forum. He will speak on 鈥淲inning Formulas for Advertising 3.0鈥� at 6:30 p.m. in the Joyce Hergenhan Auditorium in Newhouse 3. His talk is free and open to the public. Parking is available in SU pay lots. Bell has served as CEO of three major industry companies: Bozell Worldwide, True North Communications and the Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc.

Bell led Bozell Worldwide from a $12 million company to one worth more than $600 million, making it one of the 10 largest global agencies. He was named CEO of True North, the fourth largest agency holding group, after it acquired Bozell. He became CEO of Interpublic Group when it acquired True North. The second largest agency holding group, Interpublic, has 44,000 employees and more than $7 billion in revenue.

Bell is the only industry executive ever to lead all industry associations: the American Association of Advertising, Agencies American Advertising Federation, the Ad Council and the Advertising Educational Foundation. He was elected to the Advertising Hall of Fame in 2007.

Bell was a senior adviser to Google from 2006-2009 and is currently a senior adviser to AOL. He is also the non-executive chair of Creative Realities and Gyro. He is an independent director of Warnaco and Lighting Science Group.

He serves on the boards of Double Verify, Stylesight, Your Tango, Resonate Networks, Vizu and Media6degrees.
