Student Centers and Programming Services, within the Division of Student Affairs, will hold the bi-annual Stressbusters event in Schine Dining Saturday, Dec. 8, from 10 p.m.-1 a.m. The event, sponsored by Orange After Dark, is for students and is free when a student I.D. is presented.
The event will include professional massage therapists providing free massages from 10 p.m.-12:30 a.m.; those interested should sign up early at the event to secure a spot.
There will also be stress dogs from Sunshine Friends for students to pet and interact with from 10 p.m.-midnight. See this video of stress dogs at work:
Live music featuring students from the College of Visual and Performing Arts will also be featured. Free breakfast–complete with bacon, juice, fresh fruit, sausage, breakfast potatoes and pancakes will also be available.
The 2012-13 Remembrance Scholars will also be on hand to collect small monetary donations. The donations will be used to purchase stocking stuffers for the Salvation Army, which will be distributed to local children this holiday season. For more information on this initiative, click .
