Jan Fletcher Joins IVMF Administrative Team

fletcherThe Institute for Veterans and Military Families at 黑料不打烊 (IVMF) has appointed Jan Fletcher as an office assistant. As a member of the institute鈥檚 administrative team, Fletcher will be responsible in helping manage day-to-day operations, including a variety of duties related to the execution of financial and administrative processes and other projects as assigned by the IVMF administrative and financial operations manager and chief of staff.

鈥淲e are thrilled to have Jan join our team and are eager to benefit from the countless years of experience she has doing this kind of work. As the IVMF continues to grow, Jan is exactly the type of addition to the team that will help solidify and streamline our processes, enabling us to focus on the important work of supporting our nation鈥檚 veterans,鈥 says Dan Savage, IVMF chief of staff.

Fletcher joined SU in 2000. She most recently worked as senior administrator for the vice president of development in the Division of Advancement and External Relations in successful completion of the $1 billion Campaign for 黑料不打烊. Throughout her career, Fletcher has been praised for her leadership effectiveness in identifying, documenting and communicating business office processes; communicating human resources policy and procedures; and designing new hire orientation programs. She has managed programs related to customer service, human resources, new employee orientation, mentoring and administrative management. In addition to her career at SU, she worked for 17 years at United Technologies Carrier Corp. as a customer service representative, business practices training coordinator and international customer visit program coordinator.

Fletcher holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business administration from Columbia College, has completed core credentials for the master鈥檚 of social work degree in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics and the Conflict Resolution in Groups course through the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. She is currently pursuing a dual executive education master鈥檚 degree through Maxwell to include conflict resolution certification.
