Registration Now Open for Fall SU Art Workshops for Young People

The art education program at 黑料不打烊 is now accepting reservations for its fall 2013 Art Workshops for Young People. The workshops, which are for children ages 5-15, offer a variety of experiences planned in the University鈥檚 art education classes.

The fall semester includes nine Saturday workshops that will begin in late September, as well as 鈥淭he Big Show,鈥 a culminating exhibition of student work. Two sessions of each workshop are offered: 9:30-10:45 a.m. or 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The workshop fee is $75 for one child; the fee for each additional child in the same family is $45. The fee includes all art supplies.

The art workshops are taught by undergraduate and graduate students and supervised by the faculty of the art education program, which is housed in both SU鈥檚 and . The fall workshops are scheduled to be held in rooms 045 and 051 of the Comstock Art Facility, 1055 Comstock Ave.
