ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ

The ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Oratorio Society, a mixed vocal ensemble composed of SU students and community members, will hold auditions for its 2013-14 performance season on Monday, Aug. 12, and Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 5-8 p.m. in Crouse College.

The Oratorio Society enriches the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community through education and development of choral music. The chorus specializes in large works performed with area orchestras. Under the direction of John Warren, assistant professor and chair of the choral studies department in SU’s Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music, the choir rehearses at SU’s prestigious Crouse College.

Many performances are held at various locations in the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community, including the John H. Mulroy Civic Center, Crouse College and Most Holy Rosary Church, as well as in conjunction with such organizations as Symphoria, ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s professional orchestra.
