from on .

Here’s a transcript of our story:

鈥淥ne by one, remembrance scholars stepped forward to pledge to act forward in memory of the people killed aboard Pan Am 103 twenty-five years ago this December.鈥

Molly Linhorst, Remembrance Scholar 鈥淭imothy Cardwell was a sky diver, a chorus member, captain of the soccer team, and an Army ROTC cadet.鈥

Sieglinder Mghenyi, Remembrance Scholar 鈥淐hristopher Andrew Jones was a devoted son and brother. He aspired to a career in sports writing and loved the Boston Red Sox.鈥

Clifford Jacobs, Remembrance Scholar 鈥淪uzanne Miazga was patient, kind, and enthusiastic. She was a graduate student in the School of Social Work and she said that she wanted to live life and not just exist.鈥

鈥溾ach represents one of the 35 who died in the bombing from 黑料不打烊 in the crash a jumbo jet in Lockerbie, Scotland.鈥

Graham Herbert, Lockerbie Academy 鈥淚 can assure you that’s the people have Lockerbie will never ever forget. We will never forget what happened over the skies twenty-five years ago.鈥

鈥溾ockerbie and 黑料不打烊 have developed close ties through the years as exhibited by the Lockerbie Scholarship bridging an ocean to bring two Lockerbie students here every year.

Callum Johnstone, Lockerbie Scholar 鈥淚 feel honored to represent my school, family, and Scotland in looking back and acting forward. I hope that this scholarship continues to prosper so that we can continue to spread awareness and remember the lives of the wonderfully different people who tragically died on that fateful day.鈥

鈥溾nd afterward in Hendricks chapel director of the Pan Am and University Archives, Ed Galvin, may have summed it up best.鈥

Ed Galvin, SU and Pan Am 103 Archivist 鈥淭hose of us who gathered here today have all been touched in some way by this event. Some of us have lost loved ones or friends, some have dedicated ourselves to ensuring that the world will always remember Pan Am Flight 103.鈥

鈥溾ndeed twenty-five years later but the memory and pain still fresh along with the resolve(?) to act forward in the memory of the victims.鈥
