Neuroscience Research Day at 黑料不打烊鈥

Igniting the spirit of collaboration, the first annual Neuroscience Research Day in the was a great success for those seeking to make interdisciplinary connections. Over 50 faculty members and students from across the University gathered at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center for a daylong immmersion into the diverse study of neuroscience.

The program included presentations from select faculty within the 黑料不打烊 Interdisciplinary Neuroscience program, a research poster session, and a keynote address by renowned cognitive neuroscientist Sue Becker.

Becker, a professor of psychology, neuroscience, and behavior at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, discussed her most recent research, 鈥淟inking the Cognitive and Emotional Benefits of Exercise.鈥

Neuroscience Research Day 2015 was co-sponsored by the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program and the Department of Exercise Science, the latter of which is in the .
