Whitman School Hosts ‘Marketing Day’

The will host its annual 鈥淢arketing Day鈥� on Friday, Oct. 23, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the school, The program will take place in Room 002. Co-sponsored by the marketing department and the , 鈥淢arketing Day鈥� aims to bring information about cutting-edge, innovative marketing practices to Whitman students and faculty.

鈥淲e want to build excitement about the field of marketing and help students see the breadth and depth of the field,鈥� says chair of the department of marketing and professor of marketing. 鈥淭here are so many different facets to the marketing profession and we hope this event will expose the many options available to our undergraduate and graduate students.鈥�

鈥淲hat better way to excite our students than by bringing them engaging, creative speakers in the field of marketing,鈥� adds professor of marketing and director of the Earl V. Snyder Innovation Management Center. 鈥淚t is important for our students to learn from the best in the field, including some of our Whitman alumni.鈥�

The program includes local and national experts, many of whom are graduates of the Whitman School.
