Oranges in Action Food Drive Taking Donations to Local Alternative High School

Are you looking for a quick and easy way to give back? If so check out the local food drive happening on this very campus until April 27. Created by students in the intergroup dialogue class about socioeconomic inequality and education, the Oranges in Action Food drive has a mission of helping close the gap between the University and the City of ϲ. All donations go to students of the Sidney Johnson Center. If you’re interested in participating please bring all donations to any of the following drop off locations:

* Lawrinson Hall
* BBB Hall
* Indigenous Students at ϲ, Native Student Program Lounge
* Manley Fieldhouse Lobby
* WERW Radio Studio (Jabberwocky Cafe)
* Newhouse Entrepreneurs Co-Working Space
* Campus West Building Lobby

For those of you who are unaware of what to donate, here’s a list of the items that we are currently accepting!

* Peanut Butter
* Cereals
* Oatmeal
* Soups and stews
* Canned meats
* Dried Beans
* Rice/Pasta/Grains
* Pasta Sauces
* Canned fruits
* Canned Veggies
