On Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 2:30 p.m., a memorial service to celebrate and remember the life of Xiaopeng “Pippen” Yuan will be held in Hendricks Chapel. Campus community members are invited to come together during this difficult time to commemorate his life.
The student, a native of Beijing, China, was a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying mathematics. His life was cut short on Sept. 30.
During this time of grieving, students, staff and faculty can reach a number of available support services.
