Public Invited to Forum on ‘How CNY Works’

The Onondaga Citizens League (OCL) continues its current study, 鈥�How CNY Works,鈥� by inviting the public to participate in the next study session. OCL is examining the diversity of CNY鈥�s economic base. The next session will be held at the Center of Excellence,聽727 E. Washington St., on Monday, Nov. 7, from noon-1:30 p.m. OCL’s study sessions are free and open to the public.聽

Study sessions are designed to promote dialogue and learning around critical community issues. The study session will take an in-depth look at economic development in CNY, explaining the definition of economic development, how it is measured, who makes it happen and what can be done to facilitate economic growth.

Leading the conversation will be a local economist and representatives from several of Central New York鈥�s primary business and economic development organizations.

Parking for the Center of Excellence is located in the lot across the street at 718 E. Washington St., behind the red brick building. The parking lot is surrounded by a fence. Please follow the sidewalk to the front main entrance on Almond St., across from Dunkin’ Donuts. Centro’s Connective Corridor route stops directly at the Center of Excellence.
