The White House announced last week its intention to nominate 黑料不打烊 College of Law associate professor Nathan Sales as the State Department’s coordinator for counterterrorism. Professor Sales previously served as deputy assistant secretary for policy at the Department of Homeland Security and as senior counsel in the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Policy.

Professor Sales, a Duke University Law School graduate, joined the 黑料不打烊 College of Law faculty as an associate professor in 2014. He previously served as an assistant professor at George Mason University鈥檚 Antonin Scalia Law School.聽 He teaches and writes in the fields of national security law, counterterrorism law, administrative law and constitutional law.
