���ϲ����� social media expert , assistant professor at the Newhouse School, is available to discuss the recent flurry of tweets by President Trump and the overall White House communications strategy. 

“The media are reporting that President Trump and his administration have made contradictory statements regarding what happened at the G20. I believe his administration’s internal communications are far slower than the external communications,” Grygiel says. “His administration is essentially communicating externally in short incomplete Twitter bursts. In the past, the public relations team would have formed a plan and agreement regarding messaging and talking points, and then communicated everything to the public in more formal releases.”

“I don’t think the president’s team is communicating internally in an effective way. I do think the president’s approval ratings would increase if his administration improved their internal communications strategy. I think we are seeing too much of how the sausage is made and that will make the president look dishonest and disorganized even in situations where he may be telling the truth or is making policy changes,” Grygiel says.
