The Division of Campus Safety and Emergency Services, along with the , will conduct a drill on Tuesday, Aug. 1, from 8 a.m. until noon.
The exercise will take place in Lyons Hall. The Department of Public Safety and SU Ambulance will be involved in the drill and will have marked vehicles on the scene. In addition, emergency vehicles will use the Shaw Hall rear parking lot as a staging area.
This drill also serves as a training exercise for student journalists from Newhouse, who will serve in the role of media covering the event.
