Urban Cinematheque 2017: ‘Get Out’ on Friday, Sept. 1

Explore the downtown arts and culture scene in ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ with a free screening of box office blockbuster “Get Out” by director Jordan Peele!

"Get Out"

Jordan’s Peele’s film “Get Out” will be shown at this year’s Urban Cinematheque on Sept. 1.

UVP will host the screening in the Onondaga County Community Plaza adjacent to the iconic .

This event is free and open to the public.

Dozens of local artsÌý²¹²Ô»å culture organizations will host tables at the event. Free popcorn and lemonade will be provided. Food trucks will also be present.

Audience members who are able to do so are advised to bring blankets or portable chairs. Limited seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. Street parking, as well as pay parking lots, are ample in the immediate vicinity.

Charter buses leave from and return to the on the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Campus Center every 15 minutes from 7-11 p.m.

Urban Cinematheque is presented by UVP and Light Work in partnership with the Everson Museum of Art, Onondaga County Office of the County Executive, and the Connective Corridor, and generous support from: Ìý²¹²Ô»å . Additional support is provided by the .
