The start of the fall 2017 semester also means the start of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ football season. The office of Parking and Transit Services offers reminders about how parking on campus will be affected on game days.

Friday Night Games

Friday, Sept. 1, at 7 p.m. vs. Central Connecticut State
Friday, Oct. 13, at 7 p.m. vs. Clemson

This year, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Football team will be playing two Friday night games. On those Fridays, beginning at 3:30 p.m., additional buses will run between Skytop and College Place throughout the day and evening hours. The last bus returning to Skytop from Main Campus will leave from College Place at midnight.

Faculty and staff needing parking for academic reasons will be allowed to park in the University Avenue and Booth garages with their valid permits beginning at 3:30 p.m. All Quad and main campus lots will be restricted beginning at 3:30 p.m.

Students who normally park in the West Campus and Manley lots will be redirected to Skytop beginning at 3:30 p.m. Parking and Transit Services will provide free transportation from Skytop to College Place.

Orange lots that are normally available for students’ use after 4 p.m. will also be restricted on these dates. These students will also be redirected to Skytop, where additional transportation will be provided down to College Place on main campus.

ESF faculty, staff and students who normally use the West Campus Standart lot, will be redirected to Skytop beginning at 3:30 p.m. Free transportation will be provided down to College Place on main campus.

Saturday Games

Saturday, Sept. 9, at 3:30 p.m. vs. Middle Tennessee
Saturday, Sept. 16, at 3:30 p.m. vs. Central Michigan
Saturday, Oct. 7, at 7 p.m. vs. Pittsburgh
Saturday, Nov. 11, at TBA vs. Wake Forest
Saturday, Nov. 25, at TBA vs. Boston College

For faculty and staff needing access to campus for academic purposes, home lot permits will not be accommodated on game days. However, with their valid SU parking permit, parking will be provided in the University Avenue and Booth garages on a space-available basis.

NOTE: Both garages will close two and a half hours after the event ends. If your parking needs are not met because of this, please contact Parking and Transit Services at 315.443.4652.

Handicapped access for academic purposes will be provided in the lot designated on the face of the permit if space is available. If no spaces are available, permit holders will be directed to another location.

If you are attending a game on any of the above noted dates, your regular parking permit will be honored at the Skytop Park and Ride system. If you have a handicapped or medical permit, you may park in the Skytop lot and ride the shuttle bus free of charge to Gate A.

Parking and Transit Services asks for your support of these procedures so that they may provide academic access for all of the University community. If you have any questions or need to coordinate additional academic access, please contact Dee Bailey at 315.443.5319 or Amy Maxwell at 315.443.4652.
