Questions about Trump’s New Tax Plan

With the introduction of the new Republican tax plan, political analysts say that Trump broke some promises. The President had said the plan would not be beneficial to the rich, though the plan seems to do just that. The Atlantic examined this, including a quote from Maxwell Professor of Public Administration and International Affairs Len Burman.

“It kind of looks like a free lunch, that everybody’s better off,” he said. “The thing that’s surprising about this is that there are some groups that don’t get to share in the $3- or $4 trillion of tax cuts.”
